I did update GLIBC but the currently supported version for Ubuntu 22.04 is GLIBC_2.35. I may try your other suggestions or wait for an update from Ubuntu as I see that GLIBC_2.38 is supported in later versions of Ubuntu.

Just upgraded to QNEWB 11 running Ubuntu 22.04. Program does not open from Desktop icon. When I run qnewb from command prompt, I receive the following error: ./qnewb: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.38' not found (required by ./qnewb). Is there a fix for this?

Upgrading to Ubuntu 22.04 resolved my problem.

My Ubuntu 20.04 is up to date and I am installing the correct (amd64) version of Quick 'n Easy Web Builder 10.1.1. Running sudo apt-get install libc6 tells me I am running the latest version of libc6.

Looks like missing libraries:

Quick 'n Easy Web Builder 10.1.1 will not open in Ubuntu 20.04.6 or Linux Mint 20.3. No errors. Just does not open. Uninstalling 10.1.1 and reinstalling 10.0.3 results in a Quick 'n Easy Web Builder that opens and functions correctly.

FYI. Version 8.1.0 does not want to open under Ubuntu 18.04. It seems GLIBC_2.29 or greater is required and only GLIBC_2.27 is readily available for Ubuntu 18.04. Upgraded Ubuntu to 20.04 and Quick and Easy Web Builder 8.1.0 works fine.

Apparently the package for libpng12.so is not available in Ubuntu 18.04. However you can get it here: https://packages.ubuntu.com/xenial/i386/libpng12-0/download. Running qnewb from command line returns: ./qnewb: error while loading shared libraries: libpng12.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory. Search using Synaptic does not show any results for libpng12.so.0. Have tried all of the other posted suggestions you referred to.

Installed latest Quick and Easy Web Builder on Ubuntu 18.04 using deb file. Icon appears in applications, but clicking results in no response. Installed Microsoft Core Fonts as well as other recommended libraries for 64-bit systems. Any suggestions?
