Re: Signup - more than one destination?

FYI, I gave it a shot and got undesirable behavior. What I'm using now is a flat database. It's providing acceptable functionality. Reading my old post, it's not as clear as it could be. I think I may be on the right track, but wanted to check before I accidentally blew the whole thing up. I have pa...

Re: Signup - more than one destination?

Thanks. I'll try it and let you know. The worst that happens is that it doesn't work.

Re: Signup - more than one destination?

OK. I can still make it work, especially using the custom fields. Out of curiosity, has anyone tried it? Is it known to mess things up? Should I give it a test and let you know?

Thanks again. Really appreciate the quick help as well.

Signup - more than one destination?

My project is going great. I'm knocking the thing out of the park. I even found how to capture info from users with custom fields that i thought I was going to have to pay someone to do for me. Thanks. This thing is so powerful. If you ever want a testimonial, let me know. I do have two questions. T...

Re: Password for users

No. It appeared that this was the way to go, but as I got into it I didn't see a way around the "Alex gets set A, Bob gets set B, etc." conundrum. This way really appears to give me the control I need. I wasted a day and a half. If that's the worst day and a half of my life...I will wind up with a p...

Re: Password for users

I just looked at the demo for the "Protected Pages" using the drag and drop and a database on the server. It really looks like this is the path I need to take. Would that be your recommendation? Probably more initial work, but worth it in the long run?

Re: Password for users

OK, thanks. So just to make sure we are on the same (no pun intended) page... I have pages A, B, C and D, of which I want various users to only go to only one. Pages A, B, C and D have links to pages A1, A2, A3; pages B1, B2 and B3 - etc., respectively. One login form. I haven't even seen the redire...

Re: Password for users

I think I'm grabbing hold of this. Will test soon. I do have a couple of questions. There are four sets of pages I want to protect with different usernames/passwords. Are my assumptions correct? 1. If I call my login pages, for instance, login1, login2, login3, login4, then would I need to change th...

Re: All my links died

First of all, thanks again for your quick response. You would not believe how little I really know about this stuff. But your program really does make it...surprise, surprise...quick and easy. See the screen shots. All of the files that do not save are located on the GoDaddy server for my site. It s...

Re: All my links died

I think I may have cured the problem by removing the page-level Events. I think I just don't understand how to do Events, and the Help document really doesn't give me enough info to know what to do. On a separate matter, now that I have paid for it, can I just remove the "Built with..." buttons? And...

Re: All my links died

Tried one more time on the Series 6 Module 1 Video 1, and the PayPal link worked in the preview, but not after I published it and displayed the page from the publish log box. If they are working on that page for you, it may be my browser cache???

Re: All my links died

They just quit working. I had put events on the pages, but may have done it wrong. I was able to revive them on the "Series 6" page by cutting and pasting back all of the links, but that isn't working on my Series 6 Module 1 Video 1 page. The site is Series7Specialists.com. I have my index page work...

All my links died

I was using the Try It. Loved it. Very simple. It provides about 80% of the functionality that I am looking for from a site that will cost me about $15,000 if I do it commercially. However, one day, essentially all of the links just...plain...died. I can revive them by cutting and pasting, but there...
