No it doesnt!
While Chromebooks are based on Linux, to me, having experimented, it doesn't seem possible to run Ubuntu on top, and therefore not QNEWB - shame!

Editbox wordwrap
Hi Pablo I must be missing the obvious here but I can find no reference to forms having the ability to send text. I am trying to create a form where the respondent leaves a text message as well as name/email etc. How do I get an editbox larger than one line, to have the entry start at the top of the...

Editing embedded spreadsheet
Hi Pablo Apologies if this is dealt with elsewhere. I want to display in an inline frame a spreadsheet that is capable of being edited online. At the moment all I am offered is the opportunity of downloading the file. Is this something that is available/coming/ ore even possible :-) Thanks in advanc...

Re: Losing Extensions
Should have done this before troubling you!
The program functions perfectly - extensions and uploading; now that the path is (quite a bit) shorter.
Sorry to have bothered you. Happy bunny now
Best wishes

Re: Losing Extensions
Back at my desk now - I am going to shorten all the paths (I was horrified to count the characters!) and then try again. At least I can then exclude that as a possibility. Failing that I can upload the qwb file if you would like to see it. For my understanding, the image and audio files are uploaded...

Re: Losing Extensions
Pablo / Michael Thanks for your replies. Very odd situation. I have been experimenting and have the following results. 1) Upload files from my Linux Mint qnewb to a test folder at my host (HiHosting) and everything works. 2) Upload files from my Linux Mint qnewb to the dedicated website on same host...

Hi Pablo
Will experiment some more now that you have confirmed it is not generally happening. I am using 64bit Linux Mint 19 Mate.
I will let you know how I get on
Best

Losing Extensions
Hi Pablo I seem to be having some problems with v.6 (just updated to 6.03) on two fronts. 1) Each time I install (two) extensions, they remain for the period that the software is open, but when I reopen - the extensions have gone 2) I am having difficulty in uploading the files to the host server. T...

Re: Install vs 6
Hallo Vielleicht funktioniert eine Installation von Mint 19. Mein V18 war ziemlich alt und hatte viele zusätzliche Programme geladen, die das Problem verursacht haben könnten. Eine saubere Version von Mint könnte die Lösung sein. Grüße Keith (Google translate) Hi Perhaps an install of Mint 19 will w...

Re: tabbed choice of html5 audio player
Hi Pablo,
A further thought on this. I seem to be able to run two separate pages with a player on each and with their own playlist. However, I cannot see how to stop the player playing when the page is left. Am I missing anything or is there a need for extra code?
Many thanks
Keith

Re: Install vs 6
Just to say that after a new install of Linux Mint 19, the install of version 6 went perfectly and I am able to use it immediately.
Thanks for your help
