Subfolders for external files in v3

Postby Nemomusic » Mon Dec 05, 2016 12:56 pm

Hi! I have a lot of mp3:s and PDF:s as an important part of a website i`m creating. They need to be placed in subfolders 2-3 levels down (www/subf/subf/file.mp3). I create the folder, place the files there and link to them in the program. However: When i publish these files are copied to the root level ("www/mp.3) and the links are pointing there and not to the directories i initially specified. What am i doing wrong?

You can use the File Publisher object to publish additional files to your website.
However if the files are large then I recommend to upload them separately and use absolute links instead. Because then they only have to be uploaded one and they do not use unneeded system resources during the development of your website.
