Uplaod

:( Your software version is 3.1.4
My Apple OS is 10.11.3

I finished updating a web site and I selected Publish, it goes through all the motions and says publish complete.

Even shows a nice log file.

I go to the web site and it has not changed.

I go to the host and look at the files through file manager on iPage.com and the new files are not there.

What is going on?????

Did you publish the files to the right folder? Are you sure?
The most common reason for this behavior is an invalid configuration.

What information is in the publish log?

Hi
Thanks for answering so quickly. Much appreciated.

Now to answer your response to me.
I must inform you that I have been a web master since the 80s so to ask me the questions you did here are quite insulting. Especially when you did not ask my experience level to begin with.

Of course I have checked all of those settings. Funny, I can use Transmit with the same setting and no problem???

Go figure on that one.

Now lets get back to your software. What can we look for to correct this issue, as I am being paid on this web site and if I cannot trust you or your software to get the job done. Then I guess I will have to turn to another company.

Simple, plain as that

I'm sorry if I offended you, but I honestly had the best intention to help you.

Note that I am not a company, but that does not mean that I am not dedicated to help you solve your problem. I am working on this project day and night!
Please have a little faith in me. If there were any known problems with publishing then I would have already fix them.

If the software indicates that all files were uploaded then they must be somewhere on the server.

To be able to help you I need more information.
What information is in the publish log?
What is the URL of the page?
Did it previously work? If yes, did you change anything?
Maybe the (old) files on the server are read only?
Maybe you have used a different page names (for example index -> Index)?
