No chance to chanche the Form to php exstention

Post by gpardave » Mon Jul 06, 2015 9:04 pm

Hi I have the following problem, but first I want to comment that I already read the followings

http://quickandeasywebbuilder.com/forms_php.html
http://quickandeasywebbuilder.com/form_wizard.html
http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/forms.html

My Problem is that is not possible to change the extention file of my Form in the Miscellaneous Menu from the Property Inspector of my Form.

In the Action Field appear: <? php echo base name(_FILE_); In Gray
In the Encoding Type: multipart/form-data

I restart with a Wizard blank form with the same results.

I appreciate your feedback for this Troubleshooting.

Gabriel.

If you enable the built-in form processor then you cannot change this property, because it's required to make the form script work.

Then is Computer Problem, Software Problem or Form Issue, because i already attempted with Forms using the Wizard, and the result is the same.

Thanks for your kindle answer.

I have been observed that I seen a difference between the Property Inspector field space in the Miscellaneous from the Tutorial and my version. And this is the Target field space.

In the Real version, the help mention that this is:"The Target attribute specifies where to open the action URL. (See attached target for the URL.png),and the error after use the Form is related to the 404 error regarding to the Address URL for the feedback.php Form does not exist (see 404_URL error.png).

I do not know if i need to put something in this field.

Thanks in advance.

I think you are mixing up a few things.

The form wizard helps you setup the initial form. It created a standard form with standard form elements.
If you enable the built-in form processor then the 'action' must be set the same page, otherwise the script won' be called. So that is why the field is disabled, to prevent you from changing it accidentally.
If you want to implement your own form processing script then you can disable the form processing.
However I strongly recommend that you first try to use the built-in script,. unless you are an advanced user.

The error indicates that you did not publish feedback.php.

I already received E-mails, but the problem that now I have is that the Success Message does not appear and the feedback.php page still open.

Do you have some suggestion for this issue.

I really appreciate your support.

Why are you using 'feedback.php'?
If you use the built-in form processor then all you will have to do is select the 'Success' and 'Error' page.
If you use a custom script then you will have to implement this functionality yourself.
