Centered Form possible?

Post by mexman » Thu Sep 28, 2017 1:29 am

Hi Pablo:
I am trying to keep a FORM in the browser center when changing the screen width.
I tried with LayoutGrid -> The Layout grid does not accept the form as a contents
I tried with a floating layer: Layer works but nothing can stay in the middle of the layer ( I thought "Position Children = Floating would do, but it does not).
Any chance?

A form cannot be inside a layer out gird.
However a layout itself can be a form! See the FAQ and tutorial.

Did you also try a sticky or docking layer?

Also you can center the entire layout with 'center in browser' in the page properties.

Ho Pablo:
Thanks for the quick answer.

"Sticky" or "Docking" Layer will not work either in my design.
Thanks for the hint to the tutorial regarding the LayoutGrid itself being used as form.
I was struggeling with that because I did not see HOW. Now I see that not the individual grid division itself but the complete Layout Grid will be defined as a FORM. I did not understand that before and will try now.

Regards
Michael
