Moving from web to qne

Post by alex4orly »

After 6 weeks, I finally finished my move to Linux and am ready to get back into my projects.
But, I have lost track of how to make the move.

1) do I convert the project in windows or do I do it in Linux, how?
2) how to convert extensions?

Hope for your instructions

Thanks

In WWB (under windows) you can export your projects to qwb format via the 'Save as' menu.

Extensions can be converted with the converter tool.

Notes:
Not all features are available in QWB. See also the documentation/help in WWB about this.
The converter tools are just helpers so you do not have to completely started from scratch.
It is not possible to do a 100% perfect conversion because at the core QWB and WWB are very different.

That's what I was looking for.
Can the extension conversion be done in QWB or I must first for it all in Windows?
Thanks

The conversion can only be done in Windows.
