My forum account is no longer available. What has happened?

Post by pablo »

As part of our ongoing system maintenance, from time to time we disable or remove accounts that are no longer active. Accounts that have not accessed the forum for more than 6 months are considered inactive and are subject to being deleted. Note that we do not delete accounts if there are still activate posts associated with that account. Unless those posts have become obsolete (because they apply to older/unsupported versions of the software).

If your account was removed then you can re-create that account to join the forum again:

Another reason for disabling an account is if you have violated the forum rules. Although usually we only do this in very extreme cases.

You can read the forum rules here:
