Text on published site not visible in Q&E

Post by mace »

I have a line of text appearing in my published site on my web hosting service, but it does not appear, or I can’t find it, in my source files?

You can quickly find it by using the debugger in your browser (F12).
Once you have the "ID' of the object you can look it up in the Object Manager and remove it.

I used to get a lot of these popping up. Often they were 'invisible' in the 'source files' or on the QnE WB working space, , even after I did the 'toggle visibility' control in the Object manager. When I looked more closely, they WERE there, but invisible as the size in the Property Inspector had gone to 0; 0. Once I changes that to , say 100 x 100, they became visible and I could work on them. All part of life's rich learning curve!
