Contact form problem

Post by alex4orly »

OK, I think I resolved all the other problems, but this one : http://www.sakurasushimornington.com.au/contactus.php

This site, has a contact form:

1) It seems that QWB doesn't hav e a CAPTCHA object
2) It has a re-CAPTCHA, but too big for where I need it - see the screen
3) How do I get into the Form object? In WWB I was just clicking anyweher on the form. I can't see it in Object Manager

Thanks

I'm sorry, there is no CAPTCHA object. Due to limitations of the different platforms.

All properties can be set via the Property Inspector.

Ok, will read this again.

Noticed now that the web to web conversion didn't transfer my own JavaScript functions,
Is that deliberate?

Thanks

Well, after 13 years using WWB, it takes a bit more time to get used to this new and different app.

3 Major things outstanding for me:

1) I "Discovered" today that there is no facility to IMPORT a page from another project, this is a BIG thing in my mind
2) File association. I do not know of any other application, not in Windows, nor in Linux (I tried already several flavours) that clicking a .qwb file opens an EMPTY project, instead of the one I clicked on. This is a clear problem inside this application, it does the same if I run it under Windows.

3) If you look at this page : http://www.nmaa-rc.org.au/gallery.html - there is a blog object on the right with several entries, clicking any of them is showing the item in the left hand side inside an iFrame. It seems that this functionality is also missing here in QWB... What can I do about this?

I hope this is on the to-do list

Thanks

1. Sorry, this feature is currently not available. I never has been requested by other users.
2. File association is standard system functionality. The system determines what happens if you double click a file, not the application.
3. Which specific functionality are you missing ?

In WWB, I was able to click on a blog item, and in the link - specify where should it be executed:

In a new window
In the current window
In a light box
In a popup window
In an iFrame

If you visit the poaige I pointed to, you will see that the content of a click, is taking the user to another window / tab of the browser, I have about 400 items in various blogs in the website (and in other websites) that are all using an iFrame to show content .

Please visit this for example : http://www.beleuramyhome.org.au/

Use 221 to log in, then check the menu option : Interaction->Technology Tricks, or Photography and many others on this website to see what I mean

Thank you

This option is currently not available. Maybe it will be added in a later version.

OK, If you can tell me, how can I detect, using Javascript -
1) What is the ID of the Blog button that was clicked, and
2) How to retrieve the Link / URL that button is pointing to

Then, maybe I can create a function to run through an Event?

Thanks
