Version 8 problem opening file

I have a file that was created with the latest version 7. I opened it in version 8. No problem there. Made a change to the file. saved it. No problem yet. Then I tried to reopen the same file with version 8 and I receive an error. "Error loading"

Tried several times and receive the same error. Then I went back to try to open it in version 7. The file won't open there, either. Now I have a lot of work done that neither program can open and edit.

This is a website that I need to update on a bi-weekly basis.

Are you using the latest version 8.0.1?
There was an issue in 8.0.0 with HTML audio/video, which has been solved in 8.0.1

Note that you cannot open new projects in an older version of the software. Version 7 does not support the new features of version 8.
But you should be able to open a backup of your project (before you saved in version 8 ) in version 7

If your project does not use the html5 video/audio then can please share your project so I can investigate if something else is wrong?
