Unfortunately we do not have access to order data of the Mac App Store, so we cannot verify if or when you have purchased a license through their shop. But, to compensate for this we have reduced the price in the Mac App Store. If you purchased version 9 via the App Store within the last 3 months then you paid $25, if you purchase the new version now then you pay $35, so effectively you pay the same price.
UPGRADE FAQ
What is the difference between an update and an upgrade?
Updates are fixes or small enhancements for existing functionality. Updates are free. For example, if you've purchased version 10.0 then versions 10.1, 10.2, 10.3 will be available free of charge for existing customers. The software is updated frequently, with updates and extra features being released almost every month.

Upgrades are major new versions (for example, from 8.x to 9.x) with many new features and enhancements. Upgrades are not free but can be purchased with a discount for existing customers. Upgrades are generally released every 12-15 months.
Why do I have to pay an upgrade fee?
A lot of time goes into research, creating and testing new functionality and we continue to improve the software with frequent updates and other extras (extensions, add-ons etc.) We are not a large company, and we would not be able to continue the development and support of this product without paying users. We also have costs for development, programming tools, web hosting, reseller fees, digital certification, third party licenses etc. Unfortunately, we cannot do all this work for free.
Are there any known problems in the new version?
For the most up-to-date information about the software, please visit the support forum: https://www.quickandeasywebbuilder.com/forum/
Of course we will try to fix all reported issues as soon as possible, so keep an eye on the news feed on the forum.
