CSS layouts:
1. They're more efficient and faster to create
2. They're more flexible and easier to change
3. They're better for responsive design
4. They offer more control over how content is displayed
 
However, there are also some drawbacks:
1. They can be more complex to understand
2. Some browsers don't support them yet
