Hi Pablo,
can you imagine any image problem depending on the shadow selection?
I am trying to prepare a small sample site with the error, but I still could not do that.
I build a page including some text and an image -> works
The image has SHADOW enabled. (I don't remember if CSS or Gaussian shadow)
I clone the page and rename the new page. -> works
I rename the objects in order to not having problems with duplicate IDs -> works
I click on the picture and select a new picture and I can see it on the desktop
I preview the page and the old (wrong) image is shown. -> bad, because the work area shows the new picture.
The new image is ONLY shown (and published), when the SHADOW is switched off!
With either shadow ON (gauss or CSS) the old image continues to show only when published or previewed.
I will again try to build a "bad but small" project for you.
Regards
Michael

Re: Image Shadow problem
Maybe the browser displays the previous image from cache? Did you try to clear your browser cache?
Or maybe the filename is not unique?

Re: Image Shadow problem
I just sent an example.
The strange thing is that it changes with the shadow settings

Re: Image Shadow problem
When you apply effects (shadow/filters/ect) to an image, then it will assign a new filename to the image to prevent the original image from being overwritten.
Somehow in your project 2 images have the same name.
To reset the assigned name:
- select the image
- click 'Cut'
- Click 'Paste'

Re: Image Shadow problem
Hi Pablo,
that does not help.
I completely deleted the picture, saved the file, selected a new image.
Again the preview shows the right photo, but only until I switch the shadow ON. Then the "ghost" photo appears again. Never shows in the workspace, only in preview or published.
No chance yet to remove the shadowed image.

Re: Image Shadow problem
I finally managed to change to photo. It was necessary to remove the old image and insert a new image OUTSIDE the layout grid, save the project, then move the image inside the layout grid again. Then the ghost image was gone finally...seems it has to do with shadow rendering specifically in layout grids!

Re: Image Shadow problem
The issue was related to duplicate filenames. If remove the shadow then the original name will be used so that is why it works in that case.

Re: Image Shadow problem
I see.
Please update the contents of the Link from "WYSIWYG Web Builder" to QnEWB.
Anyway it would be an improvement that QnEWB would delete or change the shadowed image whenever the user deletes or changes the original image. The user is not able to do that, because only the original image´s name is shown and could be modified. The shadowed (PNG) image stays present and hidden to the user.
Seems that changing the original images name does not change the shadowed image´s name and that is an error.

Re: Image Shadow problem
The internal filename is allocated one per image.Seems that changing the original images name does not change the shadowed image´s name and that is an error.
In the next update I will add an option to change the allocated internal filename, so you have more control over the names.
